“KRAŠ ANIMAL KINGDOM COMPETITION”

These “KRAŠ ANIMAL KINGDOM COMPETITION” Guidelines constitute a binding document outlining the rules of the competition (hereinafter referred to as the “Guidelines”).

1. Competition promoter and organiser

1.1. The competition is promoted and organised by MCCARTER, a.s., Bajkalská 25, Bratislava, 821 01, registration number: 35 846 011, tax identification number: 2020263113, VAT number: SK2020263113 (hereinafter referred to as “MCCARTER” or the “Promoter”).

1.2. Within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (GDPR), the promoter is the data controller.

2. Competition duration

The competition runs from 2 January 2022, starting at 8 a.m., until further notice.

3. Competition participants

3.1 Participants must be individuals aged 18 or over with full legal capacity who reside permanently or temporarily in Slovakia and who meet the competition requirements outlined in section 4 (hereinafter referred to as a “Participant”).

4. Competition rules

All Participants who meet the terms and conditions laid down in section 4 of these Guidelines will be entered in the competition.

4.2 To participate in the “KRAŠ ANIMAL KINGDOM COMPETITION”, you must purchase 30 Kraš Animal Kingdom 15 g chocolate bars from any shop in Slovakia and send the 30 wrappers to: McCarter a. s., Budovateľská 1247/7, PO Box 4, 929 01 Dunajská Streda. In return, you will receive a free Animal Kingdom album for your sticker collection.

4.3 Each Animal Kingdom album includes a Competition Sheet on the last page of the album. To complete the Competition Sheet, follow these steps: each Animal Kingdom 15 g chocolate bar contains a sticker with a picture of an animal, with a number in the top left corner. Attach the sticker to the spot where it belongs in the album by matching the number. Remove the numbered corner from the chocolate wrapper and stick it to the back of the Competition Sheet – in the box with the matching number. Once all the numbers in the Competition Sheet are filled in, cut it out from the album and send it to McCarter a.s., Budovateľská 1247/7, PO Box 4, 929 01 Dunajská Streda.

5. Competition evaluation

5.1 Participants who meet the competition requirements and send the correctly completed Competition Sheet from the Animal Kingdom album to the above address will receive a prize package from Kraš.

6. Competition prizes

6.1 The Promoter has made the following competition prizes available:

• Animal Kingdom Album
• Kraš Prize Package

7. Prize distribution

7.1 Albums will be sent via Slovak Post within 60 calendar days of receipt of the wrappers.

7.2 The Kraš Prize Package will be sent to the winner via Slovak Post within 14 calendar days of receipt of the correctly completed Competition Sheet.

7.3 The Promoter will notify the winner in writing, in accordance with Section 8(10) of Act No 595/2003 on income tax, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the “Income Tax Act”), of the value of the non-monetary prize when awarding the prize. The non-monetary prize is considered “other income” under Sections 8 and 9(2)(m) of the Income Tax Act and is subject to income tax if the amount exceeds €350. The winner is responsible for fulfilling their tax and other payment obligations arising from acceptance of the prize.

8. Final provisions

8.1 The Promoter reserves the right to unilaterally change the rules of the consumer competition over its duration, including changes to the length, early termination, cancellation, or similar, and may do so without stating a reason or providing compensation. The Promoter will notify such changes online at https://www.mccarter.sk/sutaz-kras-animal-kingdom. In these circumstances, the Promoter is not obliged to provide any compensation, alternative consideration, or similar. The Promoter also reserves the right to replace the prize with another prize of a similar type and corresponding value. No prize may be exchanged for cash, nor may a prize other than the one determined by the Promoter be requested.

8.2 The Promoter may unilaterally amend the provisions of these Guidelines or cancel the competition.

8.3 In order to ensure the smooth running of the competition, determine winners, and subsequently contact them, the Promoter is entitled to process personal data comprising the contact details of Participants, including their first name, surname, email address, telephone number, and address. The Promoter, as the operator and organiser, will process personal data for the duration of the competition and the subsequent period necessary for processing the results, awarding prizes, and fulfilling any related obligations under applicable legislation. Consent is granted voluntarily and may be withdrawn at any time in writing at the address of the Promoter’s registered office. The processing of Participants’ personal data is governed by the provisions on specific consent to data processing for the purpose of evaluating and determining winners in a consumer competition under Article 6(1)(a) and Article 7 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

8.4 Individuals participating in the competition express their consent to the wording of the Guidelines.

8.5 The relevant provisions of Act No 40/1964 will apply to legal matters not regulated by these Guidelines.

8.6 The “KRAŠ ANIMAL KINGDOM COMPETITION” Guidelines are published at https://www.mccarter.sk/sutaz-kras-animal-kingdom.

These Guidelines take effect as of 1 January 2022.
