One of the key factors of recognition and success is teamwork, communication, respect and identification with values ​​that are manifested in specific behavior. Our Code of Ethics is not just for reading, it is intended for our everyday life. We are part of a top working team, but none of our achievements would be worth it if we ourselves were not the ones that our partners, customers, consumers or colleagues can fully trust. The mirror of our greatest success is a responsible approach to work, as we ourselves represent it daily with our actions, approach and decisions, not only at work, but also in our private life.

Each of us has the right to be treated with respect and dignity, and the same is expected of each of us. Respect and a responsible approach to one’s duties. Each of us is an important piece of McCarter, because as we know – every molecule matters. We want to offer working conditions where we can grow personally and professionally. Our company offers us the right to work, where you can find the way to a successful future and satisfaction. But every right also carries with it responsibility and appropriate behavior. With our Code of Ethics, we get a document that will always support us and help us find our way around the expected behavior and actions.

What is the Code of Ethics?

The goal of the Code of Ethics is identification with ethical values ​​that define the decent and fair behavior of co-workers. Associates are understood to be all persons working at McCarter.

The Code promotes ethical and professional conduct to maintain the integrity and credibility of McCarter, ensuring that our rights and those of our partners are respected. It also creates a fair and impartial working environment for our entire team. Ethical behavior is of key importance for the company’s successful establishment on the market, its long-term functioning and economic interests.

Compliance with this code is binding for all employees. It is their responsibility to observe and ensure compliance with the conduct described in this Code.

Who does the Code of Ethics apply to?

Our Code of Ethics is binding on all McCarter employees: from members of statutory bodies and executives to employees. It also applies to persons whose job content is equivalent to the work performed by McCarter employees, such as e.g. contractual partners. All company employees are obliged to act in accordance with this Code of Ethics, maintain a high moral standard in work and business dealings, and create a work environment of respect and trust. Everyone is obliged to comply with the code, act in accordance with its content and must be aware that its violation qualifies as a violation of internal work regulations.

Ethically and legally correct behavior is the individual responsibility of each individual. The environment must support such behavior in such a way that business results are not superior to an honest approach. In other words: we want to achieve the set goals and behave in an exemplary and responsible manner.

It is the duty of every executive to act as a role model for employees with their behavior and demeanor. Managers must also ensure that employees are familiar with and adhere to the Code of Ethics.

In case of intentional violation of the established rules, we will take steps within the framework of the relevant laws and regulations. In order to be able to report cases of such behavior, we want to create an environment in which employees can report misconduct without fear of negative consequences.

Everyone who works for our company is obliged to respect their colleagues, behave in accordance with the principles of mutual trust, ethics and cooperation and create an atmosphere of positive mutual communication. Every employee tries to create a positive atmosphere at his workplace and in his work environment.

Each employee is fully responsible for their actions and should therefore behave in such a way as to protect the legitimate interests of the company and their colleagues and not to abuse or degrade the good name and standing of McCarter in the public. On the outside, he tries to appear positive, does not degrade co-workers or partners – every employee thus behaves in accordance with good manners.

Our employees are aware that the profit, growth and success of the company represent a benefit for every employee and therefore they fully strive to achieve them. Every employee of our company is a top expert in their position and wants to look for opportunities to innovate things, processes and their own performance.

All employees of our company are obliged to protect information that belongs to the company or that is related to our business interests. The confidentiality of the mentioned information also applies to the period after the termination of the employee’s employment with McCarter.

Our company respects the privacy of employees, customers and suppliers and is therefore committed to protecting their personal data. All personal data is processed in accordance with the Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council of the EU – GDPR and the Personal Data Protection Act No. 18/2018.

Our business activities affect the environment. Therefore, we undertake to improve our operation and impact on the environment through preventive measures, used technologies and environmentally friendly means. All our employees are obliged to work in accordance with good morals and with laws and regulations related to environmental protection.
