Processing of personal data
- Processing of personal dataThe employer (operator) processes the personal data of the employee (data subject) in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons in the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter referred to as “GDPR” ) and other generally binding legal regulations valid in the Slovak Republic (e.g. Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data).
- The employer processes the employee’s personal data mainly for the purposes of managing the personnel, wage and levy agenda, managing and organizing the agenda of work safety and the performance of the occupational health service (PZS), resolving disputes and violations of work discipline at the workplace, protecting the life and health of employees and the legitimate interests of the employer.
- The employer processes the employee’s personal data on the basis of one of the following legal bases: the consent of the person concerned (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter a) GDPR), the fulfillment of contractual obligations where the contractual party is the person concerned (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b) GDPR), fulfillment of obligations arising from the law (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR) and legitimate interest of the operator (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The employer stores the employee’s personal data for the duration of the employment relationship and, if required by special legal regulations, also after the end of the employment relationship for the period defined by the relevant law.
- As a data subject, the employee has in particular the following rights in relation to his personal data: the right to access personal data, the right to correction, the right to deletion, the right to limit processing, the right to object to processing, the right to portability of his personal data, as well as the right to submit complaint to the relevant supervisory authority (Office for the Protection of Personal Data of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 4826/12, 820 07 Ružinov).
